Hmmm… the section plate is winning!
Such yummy looking treats!
Hi!
I just have to say your latest post had me sitting here with my mouth wide open! That was a lot of food and a lot of organizing! I am a fairly new vegan and am still learning about all these new foods. I can’t believe your kids eat all those foods! I grew up eating everything out of a box-Kraft Mac-n-Cheese & hot dogs, Hamburger Helper, and frozen pizzas. I am just so impressed by your knowledge and determination to feed you and your family such amazing, healthy foods. I hope I can someday be as savvy and smart as you!
Thanks for sharing all your tips & tricks!
Oh, this looks like such a wonderful idea! I love variety on my plate–and definitely want to promote more fruit/veggie/colorful eating in my kids (first child due May 2010)!
This is my first tme to your blog and I LOOOOOVE IT!!!! What awesome plates!!!I am going to be transitioning my kids back to raw vegan and these would be great for them! They were raw for about 6mo and then we added cooked back in…but now circumstances dictate that raw is where we need to be. Off to read more of your blog!!!

quick question – do you mind sending me some pictures of the puzzle board when you get a chance? Is there anything you would do different if you had him build it again? What size is it? I love the lip on it…. I am thinking of having my hubby make one.. I was also thinking….we have a coffee table just the right hight – maybe I could get my hubby to put a “lid” on the coffee table with litle locks – then we could do a puzzle and “lock” it at night so no little hands take it apart during the night or early morning. Just rambling on now….
I love your idea of locking the board when not in use!
I replied to you via email, but wanted to share here that I’ve had lots of inquiries about the puzzle boards, so I’ll do a post on them at some point.
They really are very awesome for our puzzle-loving bunch
you make such yummy-looking food! thanks for the inspiration!
My kids would LOVE those!! I love section plates too, but I’ve never seen metal ones!
Thanks for sharing the section plate love!
Hi!
I love these plates! Do you get them locally? I have 2 square ones and love them, but the round ones are really interesting too.
Yep, they’re local, though not always in stock at the various places I’ve looked.
Feel free to shoot me an email and I can tell you where to look.
Cheers!
Ooh, I’d love a section plate!
Oh, I’m too late for this wonderful giveaway! I just wanted to tell you that you’re such an amazing mother and this is the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen. Your lovely family is so lucky to have you, how wonderful!
Wow, I love how colorful each plate is!
Hi. I just stummbled accross your blog and I have to say I am in love with it. We are a homeschooling, high raw family of 8 (6 kids) living in BC Canada. I was wondering if you could give some suggestions to where I would buy in such large bulk like you. Right now the largest Bob’s gluten free flour I can get is 1.24 kg. Cosco is good for some things like avocados and there is a company about 500 km away that specializes in raw foods (nuts, dried fruits, sweeteners, etc…) but is is very costly to pay for the shipping. Anyways, just wondering if you had in ideas to point me in the right direction. Right now we spend about $2000 a month on food!
Also, I would love to get those super awesome section plates. Can you pretty please tell me where I can get them and how much they are each? Thanks so much. Can’t wait to read your next posts.
Warmly, Jenn
Hi there, I am a Canadian also! BC was home to us!
Bulk food: I buy our bulk organic food from my local bulk food co-op, or online, and sometimes through Whole Foods (they apply 10% discount to bulk orders). Check your local health food store and see if you can bulk-order through them, and check online for good bulk deals, Amazon is great for organic bulk food!
The section plates are from local india grocery stores. Check your local india grocery shops to see if they carry them, or search for some websites that sell india-related items.
I hope you find some!
If you need more bulk food info, shoot me an email
Sheri

Hi there!
My section plates were purchased locally at little india grocery stores (I think they are traditional india plates?)
I would suggest checking your local-to-you india grocery stores, or check some websites that specialize in india-related goods.
I purchased the stainless steel ramekins in different sizes online (called ramekins or ’sauce cups’, if you’re looking for some), and the stainless steel bowls came from Target
Hi,
I am trying to do away with my daughter’s plastic sectional plates for ceramic or metal ones. I am interested in these sectional plates and would like to know the price so to possibly order several.
Thank You, I look forward to your response.
Heather Rodriguez
Hello Heather!
I actually find these stainless steel section plates at various little India grocery stores around town. I have not purchased them online. You might check an India grocery near you and see if they carry these.
Good luck — hope you find some!
